Here's what some of the Utah Alliance members are saying about the organization and its programs:
I’m reminded of the value of my membership in the Utah Alliance for Economic Development every time I attend a quarterly meeting. I always come away with ideas or practices that broaden my understanding of economic development. Often new ideas and practices come from presentations, but just as often I learn from casual conversations with government, private industry and economic development peers. I have made great professional friendships that support what I do for rural Utah all year long.
Linda Gillmor – Governor's Office of Economic Development
In retrospect, the Utah Alliance has done the most in uniting the state as one economic engine. It cuts across borders by providing resources and networking opportunities for economic development practitioners across the state. My membership has paid for itself numerous times over through the education opportunities each meeting provides. Utah Alliance is needed to help elevate the State of Utah to the next level. -Marlin Eldred, Independent Consultant - Past President of Utah Alliance
At Jacobsen Construction, we fully support the mission of the Utah Alliance for Economic Development to provide training and networking to make Utah a better place for all of us to work and live. Membership in the Utah Alliance for Economic Development has provided a great way for us to develop relationships with economic development directors of numerous communities in one setting on a quarterly basis. The educational opportunities are of great value and keep us informed of the issues and events around the entire state; not just in the metropolitan areas. -Matt Rich – Jacobsen Construction
