Honeyville, Inc. will receive a $520,000 incentive from the Governor's Office of Economic Development to expand their operations in Box Elder County. The company plans to invest $23 million in the expansion and create 115 new jobs.

The Utah Dept. of Workforce Services is hosting a series of Town Hall meetings throughout the state. The subject of these meetings is: Utah's Workforce System: Linking Service Delivery and Communication.
As economic development professionals, we are all concerned with the quality of the workforce. It is important that we have an open channel of communication with those who educate and train our workforce. The meetings will address:
- Utah's Unified State Plan
- Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)
- Utah's plan to increase access to and opportunities for employment, education and training
- Support services to Utah residents to help them succeed in the workforce via partnerships and delivery of the WIOA
